Mpemba Effect | BJC Top 15
It is always told that cold water freezes before hot water. However, there have been several cases that prove hot water can, in fact, freeze before cold water while in an identical environment. This phenomenon, called the Mpemba Effect, is a mystery that 'violates' Newton's Laws of Thermodynamics. HP Park sets out to explain his lab process that brings light onto supercooling: another phenomenon that may explain how the Mpemba effect is logically possible.
